You receive a written quote covering collection, transport, ferry or crossing costs, and delivery. The price in that document is the price you pay on move day, with no day-of adjustments.

3. Packing (optional)

Our trained packing team can arrive the day before and work through the property room by room. Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and wardrobe boxes are included. We label to a room-by-room plan so the unpack at the new address is straightforward.

4. Collection and transit

A named crew arrives at the agreed time. We load carefully, secure the vehicle, and handle the ferry booking or border crossing documentation. For ROI moves, we manage the customs paperwork.

5. Delivery

Full unloading and placement at your new address. Furniture is reassembled where needed.

6. Storage, if needed

If your new home or office is not ready on move day, items go into our secure self-contained storage units at a rate confirmed before move day.

What Affects the Cost of a Long-Distance Removal

Every move is priced individually after a free survey. The main factors:

  • Volume and rooms. Number of rooms, furniture size, and whether packing is required.
  • Route and distance. A move from Belfast to Edinburgh differs in ferry costs and transit time from a move to London or Dublin.
  • Crossing type. Cross-channel runs to Great Britain involve ferry costs. Cross-border runs to the Republic of Ireland involve customs documentation.
  • Access at both addresses. Narrow residential streets, city-centre loading restrictions, and high-rise blocks all affect crew time and vehicle size.
  • Storage. If move-out and move-in dates do not align, storage costs are confirmed before move day and included in the written quote.
